Homework
Students will be bringing homework in their folders several times a week. Homework will consist of math pages designed for remediation as well as Open Court decodable books. Often times we will have as many as 7 books a week to read. Please spend at least 15 minutes reading each night. These books focus on specific words and spellings that are covered in class. As the year progresses, students will bring home spelling words for weekly tests.
I expect homework to be done at home and turned in the next day. Homework will be taken for a grade and listed as completed assignments on the report card. Any missed school work will also be finished as homework.
